I’ve decided I am not doing a bikini challenge. I wasn’t motivated to push myself just to wear a bikini. I want so much more. I want muscle, strength, flexibility and endurance. I really want to run a marathon by 50!

And that’s what life is ALL about! Sometimes we try things to motivate ourselves, then we learn more about ourselves. This girl running in this picture is SUPER dehydrated and terrified to eat the buffet food at breakfast and lunch in that resort! I don’t do buffet style restaurants. So it was 6 egg whites, a mini croissant, a slice of a tomato, cucumbers and fruit until dinner time where I could have chicken and mashed potatoes! The scale said today I’ve lost 13 pounds in 10 days - that’s not healthy!

And I’m home with another travel voucher on Jet Blue 🙂 #over40 #over40blogger #self #selflove❤️

I’ve had the much needed break I’ve been praying for! I did the things and to be honest, I’ve had a blast meeting new people!

Y’all got those swimsuits where I’d plan to show you resort style dresses, and it felt good. At the age of 48, I’ve enjoyed living in swimsuits for the last 4 days and showing you my authentic self! But what’s the BEST experience of this trip. My days were spent with kids in their 20’s with same dreams I had at that age. It feels good to be relevant and respected:)
